This assignment justifies the standard because the assignment was to constructing explanations for your solutions and to engage in a argumentative debate using the factual data we obtain. This assignment was to explain our assigned planet's flaws of supporting life, and to construct a device to handle all the setbacks of the planet and to prove in this a argumentative debate with another team. This connects to the standard because we had to design something to create a solution, in this case the planets device to support life was the design and solution. We had to debate why our device solved the planetary setback and what were the setbacks, the argumentative part was to explain why our device proved more successful than our opponents.

I gained both science and engineering practices because we had create a engineering model and solve using scientific data. I have met a scientific skill by expressing my logical mind, creating theories and explanations for the planets flaws and to fix them. And as well a engineering skill from having to create a 3D model and elaborate on each part, and how it has importance to the planets and what size and shape it has. Gaining these skills from this assignment have proved to be very helpful when it comes a time to use my engineering mind to create a model of a device, and my scientific one when creating theories and explanations for them using the knowledge I had accumulated.

My 3D model should have been more detailed when it came to size,shape, and weight. By elaborating on what measurements it would have if it was going to be created, and what materials will it be forged by. This will improve future work because i will be capable to explain my model using engineering terms and calculations. For me to improve for the next time I must focus on detail and use logic and calculations to create a real world answers to answer the questions from the engineering portion.

I will imply this in the real world by using the experience of creating scientific theories and being in argumentative debates and the techniques to win in them. Forming theories about energy and consciousness more simpler and easy due to the fact that I experienced what it is to conclude a theory and to form one. Argumentative debates will be very useful once I am a lawyer and is defending a client from being convicted,experiencing debates from a young age will have form in my mentality creating debates to be easier.
