1. Understand the influence of location and physical setting on the founding of the original 13 colonies, and identify on a map the locations of the colonies and of the American Indian nations already inhabiting these areas. 2. Describe the religious aspects of the earliest colonies (e.g., Puritanism in Massachusetts, Anglicanism in Virginia, Catholicism in Maryland, Quakerism in Pennsylvania). Answer the following questions for your first quarter reflection on your digital portfolio.
1. Justify how this project/activity/assignment meets the standard, using evidence from the standard itself to demonstrate your mastery and/or understanding.
This project is connected to the standard because it focuses on how the 13 colonies are very important in the making of the country we have today. The 13 colonies are very important to know because they are the first states to be formed after the American Revolution. And effected how the country was formed into a Federal country , because being occupied by Britain made the colony desire to be free, because they both had different ideas to govern the country and most of them weren't siding with a monarchy philosophy.

2. Elaborate on at least 1 skill and/or strength you feel you gained from completing this
One skill I learned was understanding why many of the colony's are against each other. Because there are 3 types of areas where colonys would identify themselves, which are the New England, Middle Southern branches. The New England branch was a protestant held area, the middle was a very diverse area, and the southern were full of slave owners.

3. Upon reflecting on your work/score, what is ONE area of work you could have done better on? How will improving in this area benefit future work/projects?
In the future i will show more facts on how the people of the New England colonies lived and there ideas, because New Hampshire colony was more of a industrial city. Which is not to common in a religious branch of colony's, because most people of the land are farmers and work peaceful life.

4. How will you presently apply the content and skills you learned from this assignment
in the real world (outside of the classroom, particularly in today’s society)? Make connections between the content and your life.
I will apply the skills i learned in the real world about how now i know why the settlers and natives did not get along, becasue the settlers took the land, kill the people, and despised the natives
